VIDEO: Eagles' Jeremy Maclin survives knee scare

With lead running back LeSean McCoy already having exited the game with a thumb injury, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin left Thursday's preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after appearing to hyperextend his right knee while running a route in the second quarter.

Maclin planted his right foot into the ground and attempted to cut upfield but his knee bent awkwardly and he went down to the ground, immediately grabbing the knee on the way down.

Maclin missed all of the 2013 season after tearing the ACL in that same right knee, but he was quick to spring right back up, and walked off the field under his own power. He was back on the field on the very next possession, even making a catch on the drive.

While it worked out in the end, a scary moment for Eagles fans nonetheless.

Maclin admitted he was scared after going down because the fall felt similar to when he tore his ACL.
