Report: Steelers' Bell and Blount to play Thursday vs. Eagles

It looks like Le'Veon Bell's trip to Philadelphia won't be a complete waste of money, as he and LeGarrette Blount are set to feature for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their preseason game against the Eagles, just 24 hours after their arrest for marijuana possession.

Blount managed to make it to Philadelphia on the team's charter flight, while Bell had to pay his own way after missing the flight because he was undergoing blood tests at a hospital in Pittsburgh.

With the pair facing a suspension to begin the season, the move appears to be a tactic for head coach Mike Tomlin and the Steelers to give themselves extra time to figure out a punishment, and decide the best route moving forward at the running back position.
