Report: 49ers not interested in trading holdout Alex Boone

The San Francisco 49ers have received trade offers from several teams for offensive guard Alex Boone, who is holding out for a new contract, but the team reportedly isn't considering any of the proposals.

The 49ers are not interested in trading Boone, a source told CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco. They would reportedly be willing to do so, but for a steep price.

Another source said the 49ers have told teams that they would be willing to part with Boone for a first- or second-round draft pick -- a price that is considered exorbitant for an offensive guard.

Boone has two years remaining on his contract and is incurring $30,000 fines for each day of camp that he misses.

He was absent from the team's mandatory mini-camp earlier this summer.

Earlier this week, the 49ers reportedly offered Boone a deal that would make him one of the league's most well-paid guards, but a source told CSN Bay Area that if that were the case, he would already be signed.
