Steelers' Bell travels to Philadelphia on his own to be with teammates

Despite missing the Pittsburgh Steelers' charter flight for Thursday's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, running back Le'Veon Bell paid his own fare to be with his teammates.

Bell missed the charter flight Wednesday while he was at a Pittsburgh hospital for blood tests to determine whether he had marijuana in his system. He and teammate LaGarrette Blount were pulled over and caught with 20 grams of the drug. The results of the blood test will decide whether Bell faces DUI charges, since he was behind the wheel at the time.

The Steelers have yet to comment on the incident and it's unknown whether the pair will participate in the team's penultimate preseason game.
