Lions' Suh on tabled contract talks: 'I have no reaction'

Contract talks between the Detroit Lions and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh have been put on hold.

The Lions have cut off negotiations with Suh until after the season, team president Tom Lewand told reporters on Monday afternoon.

Suh addressed the situation after practice Monday.

“I have no reaction," he said, via The Oakland Press. "I don’t talk about my contract. I said it at the very beginning I won’t, I’ll keep it that way."

The organization was reportedly "not optimistic" about signing him to an extension, a notion head coach Jim Caldwell refuted Monday morning.

The 27-year-old signed a five-year, $63.5-million contract as a rookie in 2010, and his cap hit entering camp is $22,412,500.
