Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan said his team has no plans to release troubled wide receiver Justin Blackmon following reports of his arrest for marijuana possession Wednesday night, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.
Blackmon is serving an indefinite suspension resulting from several previous violations of the NFL's substance abuse policy.
"We knew he needed help," Khan said, suggesting news of Blackmon's latest transgression will have little or no impact on how the team views the former first-round pick.
