The New York Giants have given Eli Manning another weapon to incorporate into his arsenal after selecting wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. out of LSU.

With Hakeem Nicks departing for Indianapolis, Beckham Jr. gives the Giants another option in a passing attack. In an offense that currently lacks production form the tight end spot, bringing in another wideout will hopefully pick up the slack for the G-Men.

Beckham Jr. has elite speed that he complements with good hands. He's undersized for an NFL receiver, but contains the ability to beat press coverage with good moves at the line of scrimmage. Beckham Jr.'s ability to make adjustments on the football in mid air will pay dividends in the pros and he could be used in either the slot, or out wide.

The Giants will have the added benefit of taking advantage of his talents on special teams as well. Beckham Jr. excels in the punt return game and returned two for touchdowns during his time at LSU. He can change the momentum of games in that area and New York can use him there until Beckham Jr. fully grasps the offense.

He has enough talent that the Giants can start creating specific packages for Beckham Jr. in order to ensure they maximize his potential.
