Defensive end/outside linebacker Dee Ford has become the newest member of the Kansas City Chiefs after being selected 23rd overall.

Ford had 10 1/2 sacks for Auburn in 2013 to go along with 14 1/2 tackles for loss. He was at his best when the games mattered most, sacking Johnny Manziel twice against Texas A&M and dropping Jameis Winston two times in the national title game against Florida State.

Some may have concerns over his 252 pound frame, but Ford's speed and quick first step gives him an edge against bigger offensive tackles. The Chiefs would be wise to employ Ford much like the Denver Broncos use Von Miller, and have him rush the passer from a variety of different positions and stances.

Ford's skill set will make him a thorn in the side of the rest of the AFC West for the foreseeable future.
