Former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson officially became a free agent Monday, and while the interest of some teams may be less than reported, at least one squad is intrigued by the possible addition of the three-time Pro Bowler.

Last season the Jets used Ivory in combination with Bilal Powell, although Johnson would seem to be an upgrade over Powell. Johnson would also add an ability to catch the ball out of the backfield that Ivory lacks. Johnson had 42 receptions for 342 yards and four touchdowns in 2013, compared to just two catches for Ivory.

It would seem likely that Johnson will - at the very least - get a contract offer from the Jets, and he could be taking his talents to New York in the near future.
