Pro Bowl kickers Gostkowski and Tucker want to keep the extra point

When Roger Goodell revealed on Monday that the league was considering a proposal that could put an end to extra points, most people didn't seem to torn up. Except for kickers of course.

Pro Bowl kickers Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens and Stephen Gostkowski of the New England Patriots spoke after their practice Thursday and stated there is no need for change, via NFL.com.

"For what it's worth, I like the extra point," Tucker said after Thursday's Pro Bowl practice. "I like doing my job and I think it's one of those things in the game that sometimes is taken for granted."

Gostkowski suggested the interesting idea of moving kicks back instead of eliminating them.

"If they want to move it back, go ahead, but completely eliminating it would be a terrible, terrible thing," he said.

Tucker added the game isn't lacking for excitement.

"I think the game is plenty exciting as it is," he said.
