Richardson is nearly 100 percent following January surgery to repair a herniated disk in his neck and should be ready for training camp, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Richardson has not been cleared for participation in OTAs, but coach Mike McCarthy stated that no gigs have been won or lost to date. In the Packers' defensive backfield, Charles Woodson's spot is open for competition, though M.D. Jennings and Jerron McMilliam appear to be the top options to start at strong safety next to Morgan Burnett. Considering he has two of five tests yet to pass in order to return to action, Richardson is likely behind the eight ball in this competition.
