Shortly after the Oakland Raiders selected David Sharpe in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the offensive tackle immediately cleared up a report that claimed he is blind in his right eye.

"That info is definitely false," Sharpe said via teleconference, as per Jimmy Durkin of the Mercury News. "All of it is false. Just had a little cataract removed when I was younger. Just been battling that since I've been young, but it doesn't affect my play or vision or anything. I'm not blind."

Sharpe's condition was reported during the scouting combine and again by NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock during Saturday's broadcast, with the question being raised as to whether he could play on the left side of the offensive line.

With the issue cleared up by the man himself, it will be interesting to see where he lines up for the Raiders next season.
