Watch: Raiders announce 4th-round pick from famous Las Vegas sign

The Oakland Raiders are still the Oakland Raiders for another couple years, but they took another step toward their eventual relocation to the desert by announcing a draft choice from their new home Saturday.

Nevada governor Brian Sandoval announced the Raiders' fourth-round selection, offensive tackle David Sharpe, from the famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign.

Is it a slap in the face to Raiders fans in Oakland? Perhaps, but it's hard to blame the franchise for doing everything it can to build a fan base in the desert.
