Colts' Malik Hooker: Not expected to practice until training camp

Hooker (hip/sports hernia) is not is expected to be ready to practice until training camp, but Colts GM Chis Ballard said he had "no hesitation" about his health, George Bremer of the Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.

Analysis:

Hooker underwent labrum and core muscle surgeries in January. His inability to participate in spring practices could mean it takes longer for him to win a starting job at the start of the season. However, he may not be too behind if he's able to fully participate in training camp.
