Kizer tweets disappointment with going undrafted in 1st round

Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer was one of five prospects remaining in the green room when the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft wrapped up Thursday.

Expected to be one of the first 32 picks, Kizer remains without a team.

The 6-foot-4 passer tweeted his disappointment about being overlooked on Friday.

He might not have to wait much longer, as Kizer is reportedly a target for the Green Bay Packers with the first pick in the second round. Other teams are also said to be in talks with the Pack to trade up for the pick.
