The Washington Redskins and Morgan Moses have agreed to a five-year contract extension that will make him the NFL's second-highest-paid right tackle, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Adam Caplan report.

Lane Johnson is the only player that tops Moses' contract, with the Philadelphia Eagles right tackle earning $11.252 million per year - however, his deal was crafted under the assumption Johnson will move to left tackle in the near future.

Detroit Lions right tackle Rick Wagner - the previous holder of the second-largest right tackle deal - signed a contract this offseason worth $9.5 million a year, so Moses' salary will be somewhere between Wagner's and Johnson's numbers.

Morgan saw limited action during his rookie season in 2014, but has started every game over the last two years and has solidified himself as one of the best players at his position.
