TBT: Trump thought NFL teams made 'big mistake' by passing on Manziel
Everyone has bad draft takes in their past, even the President of the United States.
During the 2014 NFL Draft, Donald Trump blasted NFL teams on Twitter for passing on Johnny Manziel, who was selected 22nd overall by the Cleveland Browns:
Teams are making a big mistake not taking Johnny Manziel - he is going to be really good (and exciting to watch).

Unfortunately, Manziel wasn't "really good" - in fact, he was close to terrible during his two-year stint in the NFL.
Off-field issues dominated his short time with the Browns, who took the rare action of cutting their first-round pick just halfway through his rookie contract.
Trump has yet to tweet any opinions about the 2017 draft class, but considering his tweet-happy attitude, don't be surprised to see POTUS weigh in on Thursday's first-round action.
