Cowboys' Sam Irwin-Hill: Signs with Cowboys

Irwin-Hill signed a contract with the Cowboys on Friday, Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

Irwin-Hill, who went undrafted out of Arkansas in 2014, has yet to make his NFL debut, but should provide some token competition for Chris Jones in training camp. However, after Jones averaged a career-high 45.9 yards per punt last season, Irwin-Hill will likely have to blow the Cowboys away to have any sort of realistic chance at claiming a 53-man roster spot.
