The Philadelphia Eagles have selected defensive lineman Elijah Qualls out of Washington in the sixth round (214th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft.

- Strong run defender who could maintain that effectiveness at a number of positions on an even or odd front.
- Also has the athletic skill set to offer something as an interior pass-rusher.
Weaknesses
- Lacks the length teams will be looking for in defensive line prospects.
- Though he could flourish in a role better suited to highlight his abilities, posting just 7.5 sacks in college remains underwhelming from a production standpoint.
