A high-powered Pittsburgh Steelers offense is about to get a whole lot more dangerous.

Standout wide receiver Martavis Bryant has been conditionally reinstated from the suspension that kept him out of football for the entire 2016 season, the team announced Tuesday.

Bryant received a minimum one-year ban last March for his latest violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy.

The league outlined as part of its decision that the 25-year-old will be permitted to participate in all preseason team activities "once arrangements have been confirmed regarding Bryant’s clinical resources in Pittsburgh."

He'll have a chance to be cleared for the regular season after his progress is reviewed, and an evaluation later in the season will determine whether he's fully reinstated.

If he can avoid any further issues, Bryant may quickly re-emerge as one of the Steelers' top playmakers alongside All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown.

There were flashes of dominance across his first two seasons, highlighted by a rookie year in which he tallied eight touchdowns and 548 yards on just 26 receptions, good for an unbelievable 21.1 yards per catch.

Bryant racked up 50 catches for 765 yards and six touchdowns across 11 games in the 2015 campaign that preceded his suspension.
