Joey Bosa is back - not that he really ever left.

The Los Angeles Chargers defensive end reported to his team's facility for voluntary workouts after working out with his personal trainer the past two weeks, general manager Tom Telesco said Monday, according to ESPN's Eric D. Williams.

Head coach Anthony Lynn said last week that Bosa was training on his own in Florida and didn't know why he had yet to report.

"Your guess is as good as mine," Lynn said. "Joey and I talked the first day, and he's training with his guy somewhere. But like I said, I'm only focused on the guys that are here trying to build the team."

Bosa had also missed most of his team's offseason program last year, including all of training camp, as he negotiated offset language in his rookie contract.
