The Seattle Seahawks have opted not to match the San Francisco 49ers' offer sheet for restricted free agent Garry Gilliam, a source told ESPN's Sheil Kapadia.

The right tackle will join the 49ers on a one-year, $2.2-million contract, adds Kapadia.

Because Seattle tendered the fourth-year pro at the lowest level, the team won't receive any draft compensation from San Francisco.

Gilliam, who started 29 games over the past two seasons for the Seahawks, will likely slide into the 49ers' starting lineup from Day 1.
