Lions' Cornelius Lucas: Signs contract with Lions

Lucas signed a one-year contract with the Lions on Monday, David Birkett of The Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis:

Lucas has been a backup tackle in Detroit for the past couple seasons, seeing a few spot starts in that span. He'll figure to be a backup option once again in 2017.
