The Miami Dolphins have selected cornerback Cordrea Tankersley out of Clemson in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The Dolphins have committed their first three picks to rebuilding their defense, selecting defensive end Charles Harris and linebacker Raekwon McMillan in the first two rounds.
Tankersley has the measurables and athletic abilities of a pro cornerback, but needs work in his technique and football IQ. He will likely begin his rookie season as a backup.
