The Philadelphia Eagles announced a one-year contract with quarterback Matt McGloin on Monday.
McGloin spent the first four years of his career with the Oakland Raiders.
The 27-year-old played sparingly last season, serving as a backup to Derek Carr. McGloin made one start and finished the year with a 53.3 percent completion rate on 15 attempts.
McGloin will likely operate as the Eagles' third-string quarterback, placed behind Carson Wentz and Nick Foles on the depth chart.
