Bills add speed to secondary with Tre'Davious White
Chuck Cook / USA TODAY Sports
The Buffalo Bills have selected cornerback Tre'Davious White out of LSU with the 27th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
White becomes the third player from LSU to be taken in the first round, joining teammates Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams who were drafted fourth and sixth overall, respectively.
The 5-foot-11, 192-pounder was a three-year starter at LSU and finished eighth in the country last season with 14 pass breakups. He fills an immediate need in the Bills defense, as that unit was around league average last season.
White could also be a bonus on special teams as he returned three punts for touchdowns with LSU.
