Seahawks' Richard Sherman: Doesn't expect to be traded

Sherman (knee) said there is very little chance he is traded, MMQB's Albert Breer reports. "Very little chance it happens, but both sides are listening," said Sherman. "I honestly don't have much more to say about it than what I've already said. We have a great relationship. ... There is a lot of love and respect. There is no bad blood."

Analysis:

Sherman and Seahawks general manager John Schneider have both been open with each other and the media about the ongoing trade discussion. The team doesn't feel a pressing need to trade its star cornerback, but there is a willingness to do so if another franchise is willing to pay a steep price. Both Schneider and the 29-year-old cornerback have hinted that it's unlikely the Seahawks will get an offer strong enough to push the deal through.
