Dolphins' David Fales: Signs with Miami

Fales signed with the Dolphins on Wednesday, ESPN.com's James Walker reports.

Analysis:

A 2014 sixth-round selection, Fales will be reunited with Dolphins head coach Adam Gase, who served as the Bears' offensive coordinator in 2015 while Fales was with the team. The 26-year-old quarterback made his first career regular-season appearance in Week 17 last season, attempting five passes at the end of a blowout. He's a long shot to make it through final cuts, as the Dolphins have one of the NFL's top backup quarterbacks in Matt Moore.
