Watch: Garrett re-runs 40 at pro day, proves again he's a freak

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Despite already cementing his No. 1 overall draft pick status in the eyes of most analysts with a dominant combine performance, Myles Garrett ran at his pro day on Thursday.

Garrett participated in the 40-yard dash with his Texas A&M teammates and turned in a reported unofficial time of 4.66 seconds on his first attempt.

This came after Garrett proved himself in front of scouts in Indianapolis earlier this month, running the 40 in 4.64 seconds and posting ridiculous scores of 41 inches in the vertical jump and 128 inches in the broad jump.

Most top prospects would rest on those numbers and sit out their pro day to avoid the risk of injury, but not Garrett, apparently.

And if we needed any more evidence that the 272-pounder is a truly rare athlete, now we have it.

The Cleveland Browns own the first overall pick, and it will be a major shock if they don't add Garrett to their defensive arsenal.
