The Miami Dolphins have selected linebacker Raekwon McMillan out of Ohio State in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 54th overall.
Miami entered the draft with glaring needs both on the edge and at linebacker in the defensive front seven, and the club has now managed to address both spots with its first two picks.
McMillan is a major upgrade to the linebacker corps alongside Kiko Alonso and veteran free-agent addition Lawrence Timmons.
Productive in all areas of the defensive game, he'll have the opportunity to contribute as an every-down player sooner rather than later.
