Saints bolster offensive line with tackle Ryan Ramczyk
The New Orleans Saints have selected offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk out of Wisconsin with the 32nd pick of the first round in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Offensive line didn't appear to be an area of need for the Saints entering the draft, but without a consensus best defensive player available, they elected to fortify their offensive line.
Ramczyk could challenge to replace right tackle Zach Strief for a starting position this summer, though he will likely be used as a sixth offensive lineman as he can also line up at guard.
The former Badger was the second offensive lineman selected in the 2017 draft and the Saints' second first-round pick after taking cornerback Marshon Lattimore 11th overall.
