Eagles' Chris Long: Agrees to terms with Eagles

Long agreed to terms with the Eagles on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Analysis:

Long is fresh off of a Super Bowl win with the Patriots and will bring a veteran presence to Philadelphia's defensive front. He recorded 35 combined tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble in 16 games last season. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Long's deal is two years in length, so he will need to show he can still make plays at the age of 32 if he wishes to secure a long-term future with the Eagles beyond the next two seasons.
