Patriots' Tom Brady: Says he could play six or seven more years

Brady told Patriots owner Robert Kraft he might play six or seven more years, NFL Network's James Palmer reports.

Analysis:

Still playing at an elite level as he approaches his 40th birthday (in August), Brady seems to have plenty of gas left in the tank, though six or seven more years might be a stretch. At some point, he might decide there is nothing left to accomplish, as he's the only quarterback with five Super Bowl victories in NFL history, and he also owns a slew of regular-season records. Brady should have fun this upcoming season, with WR Brandin Cooks providing an element of downfield speed that the offense hasn't had in years.
