Ravens' Timmy Jernigan: Could be available in trade

The Ravens may consider trading Jernigan, who is preparing for the final season of his rookie contract, ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

The perennially cap-strapped Ravens have invested a lot in other parts of their defense, most recently giving out huge contracts to NT Brandon Williams and S Tony Jefferson. The 48th overall selection in the 2014 draft, Jernigan may have priced himself out of the team's range with his solid play the past two years. He's recorded either four or five sacks in each of his three seasons while also providing a strong presence against the run the past two campaigns.
