Redskins bolster WR corps by adding Quick

Joe Camporeale / USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with free-agent wide receiver Brian Quick, his agency announced Friday.

Quick spent the first five seasons of his career with the Rams, and caught 41 passes for 564 yards and three touchdowns in the team's first season in Los Angeles last year.

The 27-year-old is the latest addition to a new-look wide receiver group in Washington. DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon departed in free agency, while the Redskins added Terrelle Pryor to be their new No. 1 pass-catcher.

Quick should battle with 2016 first-rounder Josh Doctson - who missed nearly all of his rookie season - for snaps opposite Pryor, with Jamison Crowder manning the slot.
