The Minnesota Vikings have signed defensive end Brian Robison to a contract extension that will tie him to the team through the 2018 season, ESPN's Field Yates reports.

Robison will earn $7.5 million over the next two seasons, including $5.15 million in guarantees.

He was initially due to earn $5.6 million in 2017 (the final year of his previous deal), with none of it guaranteed. Now, he will earn a fully guaranteed $3.9 million next season, along with an additional year at a base salary of $3.2 million with $1.25 million of it guaranteed, according to Yates.
