Former UCLA cornerback Fabian Moreau recently underwent surgery to repair a torn pectoral suffered at his pro day, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network report.

Moreau is expected to make a full recovery and to be on the field for training camp, Rapoport adds.

Along with Sidney Jones, who suffered a torn Achilles at the Washington pro day, Moreau is the second highly touted cornerback prospect to pick up a major injury in a pre-draft workout.

His combination of size and athleticism was thought by many to have him in the mix for first-round consideration. Though is appears that he'll be healthy well in advance of his rookie season, it remains to be seen whether the lengthy rehab will push his draft stock back.

Moreau turned heads at the NFL Scouting Combine with a 40-yard dash of 4.35 seconds, second only to Jalen Myrick among this year's fastest cornerbacks.
