Jaguars add muscle to rushing attack with Leonard Fournette

Bill Streicher / USA Today Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected running back Leonard Fournette out of LSU with the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Remember when running backs were rarely selected early in the draft?

The Dallas Cowboys made Ezekiel Elliott the fourth overall pick a year ago, then watched as Elliott led the NFL in rushing and boosted the Cowboys to the playoffs.

The Jaguars are surely hoping to follow a similar model with Fournette, a stunningly violent runner who will provide the punch the Jaguars' rushing attack has lacked in recent seasons.
