Steelers get Roethlisberger another weapon with JuJu Smith-Schuster
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports
The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster out of USC in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The Trojans star adds to the Steelers' potent passing attack, giving quarterback Ben Roethlisberger another weapon. Smith-Schuster joins a star-studded receiving corps that features Antonio Brown and the recently reinstated Martavis Bryant.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder is an incredibly physical pass-catcher who caught 70 balls for 914 yards and 10 touchdowns in his final collegiate season.

- Physicality. Willing and capable blocker who can fight through press coverage at the line of scrimmage.
- Hands. Plucks the ball out of the air away from defenders.
Weaknesses
- Speed. Speed. Speed.
- Used other skills to be a dominant college player, but below-average foot speed will be an issue at pro level.
