The Dallas Cowboys re-signed quarterback Kellen Moore, the team announced Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Moore did not see any playing time last season, with Dak Prescott earning Pro Bowl honors during his rookie campaign.

The 27-year-old is currently third on the Cowboys' depth chart behind Prescott and Tony Romo. However, it's widely expected that the Cowboys will release Romo this spring.

Moore last played during the 2015 season, completing 58.7 percent of his passes for 779 yards and four touchdowns against six interceptions.
