Buccaneers sign veteran kicker Folk

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers promised to bring in competition for young kicker Roberto Aguayo, and they've kept their word.
The Bucs signed free-agent kicker Nick Folk on Saturday.
Folk was released by the New York Jets in February as a cost-cutting measure after a seven-year stint with the team. He's been successful on 81 percent of field-goal attempts in his career, and went 27-for-31 in 2016.
The Buccaneers traded up to select Aguayo with a second-round draft choice before last season. The most accurate kicker in college football history was a disappointment in his first pro year, however, connecting on just 71 percent of his kicks.
