Colts' Clayton Geathers: Could get look at linebacker

Geathers (neck) could get playing time as a linebacker next season, The Indianapolis Star reports.

Analysis:

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound safety had 59 tackles (50) in only nine games last season, eventually landing on injured reserve with a concussion and a neck injury. Assuming his health checks out, Geathers could get a look at inside linebacker, which stands as one of the glaring weaknesses on Indy's roster. He'd probably only play linebacker in sub packages while staying at safety in the team's base defense, but such a role would still give him triple-digit tackle upside.
