DeMarcus Ware announced Monday that he's decided to call it a career after 12 seasons in the NFL, and players and coaches around the league showered the likely future Hall of Famer with praise, including Ware's Broncos teammates and Wade Phillips, who acted as the pass rusher's defensive coordinator in both Denver and Dallas.

After recording 138.5 sacks during his career, some offensive players will likely be happy to not have to face Ware any longer, including Derek Carr and Duane Brown.

Other players around the league paid tribute to Ware, with fellow recent retiree Robert Mathis calling Ware the "best pass rusher of our generation."
