Ryan Griffin: Returning to Texans on three-year deal

Griffin signed a three-year deal with the Texans on Saturday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

After catching 49 total passes in his first three seasons, Griffin blew up with 50 grabs in 2016, racking up 442 yards and two touchdowns. He and C.J. Fiedorowicz comprise a promising tight end corps for the Texans. Additionally, Griffin's return will be a significant road block for Stephen Anderson, who saw just 130 snaps as a rookie in 2016.
