Report: Peterson's interest in Raiders not necessarily mutual

Adrian Peterson's interest in joining the Oakland Raiders is not necessarily shared by the Raiders, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.

The veteran running back was linked to the Raiders and Seattle Seahawks in a report Tuesday night, but it appears it may have been wishful thinking on his part.

The Seahawks reportedly have no immediate interest in signing Peterson, and now the Raiders seem to be in the same boat.

At this time, it's unclear if there are any serious suitors for the former 2,000-yard rusher.
