The Washington Redskins and impending free-agent receiver DeSean Jackson are not expected to reach a new contract, sources told Master Tesfatsion of The Washington Post.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys are interested in acquiring Jackson, adds Tesfatsion.

Jackson openly admitted he was interested in hitting the free-agent market in December, and has considered joining the Eagles since at least February, calling the potential reunion a "great story".

Jackson played the first six years of his career with the Eagles.

The 30-year-old can still provide potential suitors with a deep threat, averaging 17.9 yards per catch in 2016 as he racked up 1,005 yards on 56 catches with four touchdowns.
