Report: NFL teams unhappy fans are present for combine drills

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

It doesn't sound like staff members from teams enjoy sharing the NFL Scouting Combine with fans.

A source said "nobody is happy" on NFL staffs that fans were on hand for the bench press drill and shouted at players as they pushed for reps, according to Yahoo's Charles Robinson.

The NFL never misses an opportunity to sell tickets - heck, the league allows fans to attend Super Bowl media day, where all they can see is reporters asking players questions - but it appears some fans are overstepping the boundaries of decency.

Robinson passed along the story of one fan who screamed at Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram, telling him to improve his bench press form and angering NFL talent evaluators.
