Falcons' Julio Jones: Minor foot surgery scheduled

Jones is expected to undergo a minor foot procedure Monday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Analysis:

Jones' surgery won't impact his availability for training camp, as it was previously reported that the procedure -- which is to remove a bunion -- is expected to coincide with a mere four-week recovery. Given that timetable, Jones should be fine to participate in Atlanta's offseason program as well, minimizing concern over the problem. Jones missed two games last season due to his toe injury.
