David Johnson meets idol Emmitt Smith for 1st time

Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson was finally able to cross "meeting Emmitt Smith" off his bucket list.
In a piece he wrote for the the Players' Tribune in December titled "A Tribute to My Idol, Emmitt Smith," Johnson cited Smith as the reason why he became a football player and said he hoped "someday soon I'll be able to tell him that in person."

On Wednesday, the Players' Tribune tweeted a video of the pair meeting each other for the first time and discussing Johnson's piece, among other things.
"Honored to have met David Johnson in person with Players Tribune," Smith tweeted. "I hope that knee is feeling better... Let's meet again soon!"
