Watch: Josh Doctson returns to receiver drills

After Washington Redskins first-round receiver Josh Doctson missed the majority of his entire rookie season with an Achilles injury, the team's hopeful franchise pass catcher has returned to the field.

Doctson was placed on injured reserve in October after appearing in just two games, making one catch in each. There was little word on his progress through the season, but head coach Jay Gruden said in January he felt February was an important month for Doctson's rehab, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

The 24-year-old posted videos of his on-field workouts Thursday.

With Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson rumored to be leaving via free agency, Washington will be hoping Docston can be ready for the team's full offseason program beginning in April.
